As early as I can remember I've had a sensitivity to the world inside and around me. For many years I was a student of theatre and the performance arts yet it became my every day experience of life that really captivated me.
In my twenties this sensitivity felt difficult and I remember feeling a deep separation to life and turned a lot to substances for connection and aliveness. Somehow within this I found yoga which taught me how to come home to my body. This became the seed of a twenty year journey of embodied healing that came to teach how sensitivity is a great gift.
Today I embrace an integrative approach to healing and discovery that draws upon embodied yoga and somatic movement practices, trauma healing methods including somatic therapy, pysche drama, breath work, deep self enquiry and the richness found in ancient eastern practices.
These practices have guided me through the many dark nights needed for my human to find true safety, pleasure and connection to myself and relations - and I'm still on the journey.
I work from the perspective that our bodies are a playground encoded with our emotional and spiritual existence and through working with the body we are able to integrate trauma, access wisdom and ultimately experience life with more richness.
I have facilitated embodied yoga and movement workshops / retreats internationally for fifteen years and was a co-creator of the Grace & Presence embodied yoga teacher training.
Over the past years my work has evolved to supporting people discover themselves more deeply through profound Awareness Facilitation by Satya Rocha.
My approach is inclusive, intelligent and seeks to meet each person with kindness and respect. You can expect a grounded and professional space laced with mystery.

Embodied intelligence: bringing your body to life through embodied yoga and movement with guidance rich with sacred biology, wisdom, movement philosophy and poetry.
Somatic practice: exploring how your body is communicating your feelings, repressed memories, wisdom and intuition. Through deepening your somatic dialogue, you are able to process unconscious experiences stored in the body as well as process your feelings as they happen.
Finding language & making connections: using your present experience to explore how your past shows up in your life today and formulate language where words are hard to find.
Practicing presence: cultivating awareness of our internal, external spaces and our human in relationship. Through various mediation techniques and authentic relating practices.
Imaginary and symbolic worlds: moving beyond the body and mind into the imaginary and symbolic worlds to open the door into the wisdom of your soul.
Trauma informed: a therapeutic relationship which works with the wisdom of how trauma shows up in our lives. Working together step by step with appropriate tools to bring more harmony to your life.
